Even though Fisker has its own dealerships, it couldn’t hurt the up and coming company to open up one more. Now with Penske’s help, Fisker will have an additional dealership in Arizona.
The Fisker-Penske deal brings the total number of Fisker dealerships to 80 globally, with 48 of them being in North America. Penske is a good friend for Fisker, as they currently operate 336 dealerships, across a wide range of brands.
There’s no indications of future Fisker-Penske dealers beyond this new one.
“Fisker is proud to be part of the Penske team and we look forward to a fruitful relationship,” said Matthew Malfitano, director of Fisker’s North American operations. Malfitano also said that Penske’s “support speaks volumes about Fisker’s market potential.”
Fisker currently makes the Karma, a plug in electric vehicle with a gas-powered range extended. The company says that this year they have already sold 1,000 of the $103,000 sedans.
